Story
This painting is all about the importance of protecting and maintaining these precious waterholes, not only for people but for all life, in the harsh Australian deserts. They did and still do enable my people to travel in the deserts when rain is scarce. Every few years these waterholes are cleaned out by our people and made ready for the next deluge that will fill them up again with fresh, clean water.
